This digital to analog audio converter from NÖRDIC converts digital audio signals from coaxial or Toslink to analog L/R audio. It is available for connection to an external device such as an amplifier via standard RCA connectors. There is also a 3.5 mm stereo output for headphones.

Remark

This audio converter does not decode 5.1CH/Dolby, DTS or other surround sound signals. It converts 2CH PCM digital audio to 2CH analog audio. If you hear "da...da...da..." or banging sound. It means the input audio format is not supported. Here are some tips for your reference:

• For TV, go to audio setting -> SPDIF type -> select PCM or LPCM
• For Xbox, go to Settings -> System -> Console Settings -> Audio/Digital Output -> select digital stereo instead of Dolby
• For PS3, go to Settings -> Audio Settings -> Audio Output Settings -> Optical Digital
• If you are using Apple TV, make sure you set Dolby Digital to “Off”.
