This powerful device supports two M.2 SATA hard drives and provides simultaneous read and write capabilities, making it ideal for data management and backup.
A standout feature of this docking station is its offline cloning capability. This eliminates the need to connect the docking station to a computer. Simply plug in the power supply, press the button, and you can effortlessly back up important data from Disk 1 to Disk 2. In addition, you can copy data from a hard drive in your PC to Disk 1 or Disk 2. With support for hard drives up to 4TB, this docking station offers ample space for all your storage needs.
With a fast USB 3.1 Gen2 connection, you can enjoy transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, making data transfers fast and efficient.
Installation is easy with plug & play and hot swap support, without the need for drivers. The LED indicator keeps you informed of the working status of the docking station.
Compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Linux, our docking station can be used for offline cloning or to expand the storage capacity of PCs, laptops, smart TVs, PS4 and other devices.
Please note that this docking station is not suitable for NVMe SSDs.
Useful to know:
This external hard drive docking station supports all SATA M.2 SSDs.
When using Offline Clone Duplicator, the capacity of '2' SSD must be larger than the capacity of '1' SSD, otherwise the clone cannot be completed.
The Offline Clone function can not be connected to the computer. Only supports offline cloning.
SSD Health: If there is a bad sector in the SSD, copying may stop. Scan the SSD first before cloning to make sure there are no bad sectors.
Make sure the two SSD drives are recognized by the computer when you connect our SATA M.2 Duplicator. If not, cloning will not be possible.
It is normal for the device to become warm, as the high-speed SATA M.2 drives generate a lot of heat during operation. Do not touch the SSD during operation.
For a brand new SSD drive, it may not be recognized because the brand new SSD drive needs to be formatted before using it for the first time. And you also need to create a partition on the SSD drive.
If you want to remove the SSD, first unplug the power and then take out the SSD.
The clone function does not support encrypted SSDs. Before performing the clone, you need to decrypt the hard drive first.
