This 4K HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor from NÖRDIC has 1xHDMI input and 1xHDMI output with sound extraction function. The sound can be output via 3.5mm audio jack, Toslink SPDIF, coaxial, HDMI audio port. It allows the user to use the existing audio receiver to receive 4Kx2K@60Hz, HDCP 2.3 content audio. The product also supports HDMI loopout, as well as 10-bit HDR (High Dynamic Range) pass-through and eARC/ARC function.

Extract the sound from TV to Soundbar or amplifier. Connect your TV's HDMI port (ARC or eARC) to the hood's HDMI output (ARC/eARC) with HDMI cable, then connect the optical cable or HDMI cable or coaxial cable to the amplifier or Soundbar. (Note: eARC and ARC function is only available via SPDIF optical, coaxial and HDMI audio port.)
